Marine General Peter Pace, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, calls homosexuality immoral.

I will give you a moment to digest just how ironic the above statement is. Go ahead, digest away. Get some anti-acids if you feel the need. I will wait.

Now that I think about it, maybe ironic isn’t the best word to use. I mean, if anyone knows about immorality, it would be people like General Pace. Military, by its very existence is immoral. I know, I served my time.

I have to wonder if General Pace considers secret prisons, torture, murder, black ops, spying, cover-ups and other war crimes to be just as immoral as the existence of a homosexual human.

It has always been my experience that people in positions of great power who spew such hate filled messages are often guilty of the same practices they preach against.
